The world’s biggest classic motor racing festival takes place at the Silverstone Racing Circuit in Northamptonshire over three days in July each year.

I have a fascination with other photographers and their habits. It’s this thing about “accepted norm” I think, (see my About page) which extends beyond the final picture to include the whole photographic process including where they go to take pictures (acceptable places) what’s used to take the picture (acceptable gear) and how the picture is then produced and presented (acceptable processes). These pictures were taken at the annual mecca of all things photographic, the Focus Exhibition at the Birmingham NEC.

A sequence of pictures taken over just a few minutes but still telling a story, one which we often miss. The range of emotions and facial expressions tell the story, they draw the focus of attention in the similarly framed scene.
